Stay with purpose

At InterContinental Phu Quoc, responsible travel reflects care for people and place. In collaboration with VietHarvest, the resort supports surplus food rescue and nutritious meal delivery to communities in need. Through IHG’s Journey to Tomorrow, the resort partners with Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation to help protect vulnerable children. Guests are invited to join A Greener Stay by skipping housekeeping, conserving water and energy while earning IHG One Rewards points.

Fresh & mindful

We bring sustainability and local flavours to life in every dish. Our vibrant herb garden provides fresh herbs, fruits, and vegetables that our chefs transform into plant-based, locally inspired creations. Beyond the kitchen, the resort pursues sustainable operations through our Carbon Reduction Program, including solar-powered water heaters and energy-efficient practices. By sourcing ingredients locally whenever possible, we support Vietnam’s communities while offering guests an authentic and meaningful experience.

Towards a responsible luxury future

Reducing the resort’s environmental footprint is at the heart of our operations. Over 20,000 kilograms of materials are processed for recycling while single-use plastics continue to be minimised through our Plastic Replacement Program. Water conservation is embedded in every process, with modern treatment systems meeting WHO guidelines and landscaping designed with drought-tolerant plants irrigated using 100% recycled water through efficient drip and bubbler systems. These efforts have been recognised with EDGE Advanced Certification, achieving 41% energy savings, 35% water savings, and 97% less embodied carbon — reflecting our ongoing commitment to sustainable practices and responsible hospitality.
